Virtual Studio
The virtual studio, completed in 2011, is one of the most comprehensive facilities in Asia for film and television production among tertiary institutions, comprising a studio, an assistant control room, a professional post-production room, an equipment room, a props room, and a make-up room. The value of the virtual studio lies in the breakthrough of the traditional studio’s physical limitations, production from props, sets and even actors can be completed by computer animation or visual simulation technology, the advantage of which is that it can create a scene beyond the real, and can be done to quickly change the scene, saving a lot of space, time and cost required to build physical sets, and can be combined with a variety of digital media, which is the trend of the development of the future of the media. In addition to providing courses related to digital program production, cross-disciplinary research cooperation is also one of the important development projects. In the future, we will also actively plan for community use to promote the development of local cultural and creative industries.
