As a member of the Asian Alliance of Communication Research among top universities, the department has collaborated with Yonsei University and Korea University in South Korea, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and City University of Hong Kong to co-host conferences over the years, with the 2023 conference held in Hsinchu. It frequently invites overseas experts to visit and hosts numerous guest professors to participate in teaching.
