Since its establishment, the Department of Communication and Technology has been dedicated to aligning with the international academic community. As a member of the Asian Alliance of Communication Research among top universities, the department has collaborated with Yonsei University and Korea University in South Korea, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and City University of Hong Kong to co-host conferences over the years, with the 2023 conference held in Hsinchu. The department frequently invites overseas scholars for visits and guest professorships, offering students ample opportunities to interact and engage with distinguished international researchers.

In addition, the department has established partnerships with numerous universities at both the departmental and college levels, fostering exchange and research collaboration. Each year, exchange students from the department travel worldwide for academic learning and cooperative research. The department provides a variety of pathways for international students to apply and offers generous scholarships to support their studies. It warmly welcomes students from around the globe with an interest in communication and technology to join its vibrant academic community.

Academic Consortium
