“Ling-Mei” means “psychics” in English. Also, sometimes medium can also refer to “psychihcs”. As the result, we take the homonym of “psychics” to represent how important roles medium play in message communication.
Just as psychics needs to transmits lots of information, different psychics will have different interpretation. Similarly, medium have the same effect which means different new technology will have different representation. As the result, only if people try to listen to those different meanings and interpretation can they experience the different values of the stories.
