Another important topic is focus on the digital media environment which especially has a fixed place in young people’s lives – they are permanently online and permanently connected. Like mobile technology, in the form of phones or tablets, is making our lives better than ever before. It does this in many ways, not the least of which is making communications routine. We can be in touch with those we need to reach, whether work-related or personal in nature.

While water can keep a boat afloat, it can also overturn it.Mobile phones having a negative impact on people’s interpersonal skills.Professor Peter Vorderer showed a Video of how smartphone change people’s life. In this video, some of people use phones at a meal, whether it be at home or eating out; checking the phone for a message even when they are out with friends.”Really bad, we can’t leave without mobile phones”he said.

Although the purpose of using mobile is to meet the needs of contacting with others, people often overlooked its negative impact –they are more afraid of being excluded. Besides, multi-task also affect people’s learning and thinking. These research topic are very worthy to explore for future, if has the opportunity, professor Peter Vorderer will to cooperate with Taiwanese scholars.
