Speaker Introduction

Chase Lin is the UX researcher of Gamania. He created the first UX Lab in games industry in Taiwan and has been searching and developing the an ideal research methods for conducting MMORPG games UX experience research. Meanwhile, he’s also a founder member of UiGathering preaching the ideas of UX design and hosted the “2011 Taiwan UX Submit Conference” this September.    

 

Workshop Introduction

 UX studies plays a key role in the whole process of UX design. The result of UX research not only provide an organization for making their next step of innovative strategy but also improve the product(or service) design. The research team can have in-depth understanding of their TA regarding their process of decision making, behavior and potential needs. In this workshop, UX will be introduced first and the speaker will share his experience of doing the UX research.

It’s important fro a UX researcher to have great abilities of thinking and conducting research. If one can cultivate to absorb the complicated concepts and become his/her basic knowledge, it will facilitate the communication when facing the cooperation with other teams and researchers.  The Methods of Paper Prototype will be introduced next. The participants will team up to for practice and know the process of how prototype’s been done.
