Abstract：
The book 《Lanyu Island is not in the clouds 》was published by the National Chiao Tung University ,which is cooperated by teacher and students of graduate and undergraduate, icluding Chao-chen Lin,Zhu-hong Lin,etc.
These author reported Lanyu Island by text and photo two ways, and to show the change in the process of modernization, which might face some problem.The book offered us an interview to close the local life, and presented a depth conversations with local residents.They attempt to understand the education, social, cultural, environmental and ecological, which behind the beautiful Lanyu Island.
