1.Spring Intake is for graduate programs only.

2.Courses run for 18 weeks in each semester:
Fall (August – January) and Spring (February – July). Please refer to NYCU Calendar.

Individual Application

1. The applicants’ documents as first phase. The interviews as second phase.

2. The required documents are as follow:
(1) Admissions application
(2) Study plan
(3) Certificate of highest educational level(certified translation is required if the original certificate is not issued in English or Chinese)
(4) Transcripts of highest educational level(including description of the grading system, GPA, class or school ranking. Certified translation is required if the original transcript is not issued in English or Chinese).  
(5) Two letters of recommendation
(6)Proof of English language proficiency (The English language proficiency of applicants must meet the following minimum requirement: TOEFL PBT500/CBT173/ iBT73, IELTS 5.5 (academic), TOEIC 750)
(7) Proof of financial ability (proof of scholarship award or proof of bank deposit, to be submitted during registration).
(8) Passport or other proof of nationality
(9) Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate (ARC, if any)

2. Other supporting documents are as follow:
(1) Proof of Chinese language proficiency

Internal Transfer

Internal Transfer Information

1. You must be a sophomore student
2. Minimum Requirement (1 out of 3)
    (1) Being in the top 30% of the whole freshman class 。
    (2) With G. P. A. of 80 pts of freshman year
    (3) With extraordinary outstanding performances in the communication-related field
3. Application Documents ( 3 packages)
    (1) A copy of formal transcript which must include your class rank and G. P. A. performance percentage in the                    whole class
    (2) Application form:  personal statement (a maxim of 5 pages). Other relevant documents which can prove                        applicants’ experience and performance.
4. Evaluation: There are two phases of evaluation. First will be based on the applicants’ application documents and         an entrance exam (applicants will be informed the time and subjects in advance). Those who pass the first phase         will move on to the interviews. The decision will be made by committee. All decisions are final and may not be             appealed.

1. Applicants must pass “Intro. to Communication and Technology History” in advance

2. Time: Before the deadline of course selection duration.  

※ Requirements of the Minor

1. “Intro. to Communication and Technology History” are required  。

2. 18 pts are required to complete the elective program selected by the student  。

3. 21 pts have to be completed to accomplish the minor
