The Graduation Showcase of the Department of Communication and Technology, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University\u2014”Dreamscape Dimensions”\u2014held its grand opening on December 28! This exhibition brings together a diverse range of creative works, offering an immersive visual and interactive experience. To add to the excitement, a surprise lucky draw awaits attendees, ensuring a rewarding visit!<\/p>\n

Following a successful on-campus exhibition filled with engaging presentations and external evaluations, the showcase has now moved to Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei. Under the theme “Dreamscape Dimensions”, visitors are invited into a boundless, surreal, and highly imaginative world. The exhibition, meticulously curated by the graduating students, showcases the culmination of their four years of learning, with works spanning five major categories:

On the morning of the opening day, faculty members and mentors gathered at the venue to celebrate the students\u2019 achievements. The event began with a concept video, vividly capturing the essence of the exhibition\u2019s theme. Professor Lai Chih-Hui, Chair of the Department, commended the students’ hard work and creativity, emphasizing that this is the first time the graduation showcase has been held at Huashan Creative Park\u2014a groundbreaking milestone for the department. Additionally, Professor Wei Di, the academic advisor for the graduating class, delivered heartfelt encouragement, wishing all students a meaningful experience and a successful two-day exhibition.<\/p>\n

The graduating students expressed their excitement and anticipation for this off-campus exhibition. Beyond showcasing their works, they hope to engage in more diverse exchanges and collaborations with visitors and industry professionals. The exhibition serves not only as a platform for sharing creativity but also as an opportunity to explore future career prospects and potential industry partnerships.<\/p>\n

Upon entering the exhibition hall, visitors are immediately drawn to a large-scale installation at the entrance.
\n\ud83d\udc55 Stacked clothing on staircases symbolizes the layers of life experiences\u2014each step representing the passage of time and the memories that shape us.
\n\u2601\ufe0f Floating white clouds and shimmering CDs create a surreal atmosphere, blurring the line between reality and dreams.
\n\ud83d\udcfa An old television serves as a portal to the past, bridging the gap between memory and innovation.
\nThese elements perfectly embody the theme of “Dreamscape Dimensions,” illustrating the interplay between dreams and reality.<\/p>\n

To add an extra layer of fun and engagement, the exhibition features a stamp collection lucky draw! Visitors can collect a stamp booklet at the entrance. By exploring different exhibition areas, they can collect stamps corresponding to the five creative categories. Once the booklet is complete, they can enter the lucky draw for a chance to win exclusive works and merchandise created by the student teams.

At the back of the exhibition hall, a film screening area allows visitors to immerse themselves in the students’ audiovisual creations. A schedule board provides screening times for each film, offering a comfortable space for attendees to fully experience the storytelling and cinematic craftsmanship.<\/p>\n
