Alumni Speak to DCAT’s Students
Due to so many uncertainties for college students to face after graduating from college, DCT has held a Alumni Homecoming event and invited four alumni to speak and share their own experience to DCT’s students. There were two parts of the whole speech: one is about “Further Study;” the other is “Go into the Industries” to provide different aspects about their future career
In the Further Study part, Hsing-shuen Zhang who is a graduate student of Department of Radio and Television of National Cheng-Chi University, and Ru-wei Fu who is now the graduate student of Department of Graphic Arts and Communication of National Taiwan Normal University talked about how to prepare the application of graduate school and provide different information about their school they are studying.
In the “Go into the industries” part, Jheng-feng Hsieh who currently works at Bookman Online Bookstore and Jheng-ru Chen who currently works at Yahoo! Taiwan shared their own experience including the acquirement and reality of the industries. Also, they provided lots of tips for students of DCT to get prepared for their first jobs and improve themselves to become more competitive.
